Welcome to Little Shop of Horrors! I am beyond excited to be part of the Avoyelles Public Charter School as the new Director of Arts. Seeing this production come together has been an incredible journey, made possible by the hard work and dedication of our talented students and staff. This show is truly a cross-curricular collaboration, with contributions from our art department, sewing program, music program, and, of course, our amazing technical theatre students, who took charge of designing and constructing the set and the impressive puppets you'll see on stage. It is especially exciting to have a live orchestra accompanying our performance, assembled by the amazing Scott Laborde (Music Director) adding a dynamic and increasingly rare element to the show that makes it even more unique. A special thank you to everyone who put in the extra hours to bring this production to life. I'd also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Julie Roy and Lori Thames for their continued support of the arts program. Their dedication has been invaluable, and I am truly grateful. I am thrilled for the future of this program as we continue to grow together, supporting creativity, collaboration, and excellence in every production.
